About La OM Jewelry

La OM is a one-woman shop, owned and operated by lead jeweler Laura Ortiz McCaffrey. 

Laura has always had a flair for creating jewelry, and her childhood dream occupation was to be a jeweler. 

After working for other jewelers and going to trade school to become a 'bench jeweler', Laura decided to bring her knowledge and skill set to La OM, which launched in 2016. 

Beginning with sterling silver pieces handmade in her Upstate New York Studio, Laura began to build her brand. Her signature style handmade pieces are the herkimer diamond studs, and her favorite the versatile hoops.

Though her connections in trade organizations, such as Jewelers of America, MJSA, and Ethical Metalsmiths, Laura is please to announce she is able to provide custom bridal services to all of her client.
