About Citrine

Citrine is a yellow to golden-orange variety of quartz. Its color may range from pale champagne and warm honey to deeper amber tones.

Natural citrine is relatively uncommon. Much of the citrine available commercially is amethyst or smoky quartz that has been heat-treated to produce its golden color. Both natural and treated material are durable enough for many types of jewelry.

Symbolism

Citrine is traditionally associated with abundance, confidence, optimism, creativity, and personal power.

It is often chosen as a supportive stone for motivation, business growth, goal-setting, and approaching new opportunities with greater confidence.
