Lapis Lazuli

Lapis lazuli is a deep blue rock composed primarily of lazurite, often with visible white calcite and metallic golden pyrite inclusions.

Lapis lazuli has a Mohs hardness of approximately 5 to 6 and can be scratched or damaged by harder materials.

Avoid harsh chemicals, acids, ultrasonic cleaning, steam cleaning, and prolonged soaking. Clean gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild soap when necessary. Store separately from harder gemstones.
