Moonstone

Moonstone is a variety of feldspar known for its soft, floating glow, called adularescence.

As light moves across the stone, it may reveal flashes of white, blue, peach, silver, or rainbow color. Moonstone can range from nearly transparent to milky or included, with each stone showing its own distinctive internal movement and glow.

Moonstone is traditionally associated with intuition, emotional balance, reflection, and new beginnings.

Moonstone has a Mohs hardness of approximately 6 to 6.5 and can be vulnerable to scratches, chips, and impact.

Avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaning, steam cleaning, sudden temperature changes, and prolonged soaking. Clean gently with mild soap, lukewarm water, and a soft cloth. Store separately from harder gemstones.
